| haven't written in forever. i don't know why i am. well, actually i do and that's because i simply feel the need to perpetuate my cyber-self via blogs. although this is really quite dumb. oh well. last night was a dance. possibly the worst dance (in terms of aesthetics) ever. but i got to dance with brooke etc. so that made it worth it. definitely. today, i have a lot of homework to do, but hopefully i can land something fun, also. my parents are coming home at four from california and my g-pa is here in the mean time... my band recorded a new song. it's really quite good, if i do say so myself. ducky ducky myspace. so check it out. i'm so into brooke right now... i can't stop thinking about her... she's why i was distracted during the ACT. that and that damn cell phone... | | |
| this xanga entry shall be characterized by the following webpage: http://www.peterwileyiscool.com/ . but in real news, my hostsister is gone. i loved her. like in the way a brother loves a sister. it's sad to see her gone and i hope to visit her in moriyama as soon as possible. also, for once in my life, i got an acceptance to a dance. of course i'm being dramatic. but it rocks. i'm psyched. i don't feel like xanga too much anymore. | | |
| whoah... i haven't had a chance to write in a while due to my exchange student's presence. we've been doing things, such as malling, baldy climbing, museum going, movie watching, beaching, etcing. unfortunately, the weather has been poor so we haven't gone out on the lake or anything. too bad it's so cold and ayano is here. by the way, if you ever want to say her name, it's pronounced "ai-on-OH" with emphasis on the "OH" portion. it isn't pronounced "ai-YAN-o" with emphasis on the "YAN" which would sound distinctly italian. it's great being able to see michigan through her eyes. everything is so very different... bigger, brighter, more beautiful. but as i said, the cloud cover (which i normally would love) has definitely dampened her stay. i hope that kids at school find more of an interest in her. people seem to be like "hey, you're from japan, sweet..." and then drizzle off. so lame. when i was in japan, all the girls were like "PITA CHAN, PITA CHAN!" most hilarious... and sexy. i bought two issues of death note in english. and i must say. it is by far the sweetest thing to ever come to me. i must buy them all the next time that i'm at barnes and nobles. if you haven't read them or heard of them... now you have. check it out sometime. they are really really really popular in japan (a death note movie came out while i was there). and overall, it's just friggen sweet. other than that, life's been good. i love japan. peace... http://www.bazookajoe.com/sound/bazookasongbeatbox1.mp3 http://www.bazookajoe.com/sound/bazookasongrb1.mp3 | | |
| hello, all. i'm back for another exciting post. my first ranting: chainferry. finally i'm done for the season. i never have to see my stupid boss again! for another year. ha. i really really really hate him. i don't find anything about him pleasant. even his stupid voice makes me want to punch a baby. or him. but he's done with for now, so i'm done. also, i officially dislike old women on bicycles who ride the chainferry. actually, i dislike old women who ride that in general. there's something about them that make me feel like they hate me, so obviously i'm not going to be warm back. plus the bicycle thing just adds to it. why not just ride around on the bridge? it's faster, and they NEED the excersize. anyone who rides a bike on that thing is a complete pussy. god damn. but all of that is over. i rolled in my meager $17 in tips for today (my record and the chainferry's record is $48). little kids who ride that also annoy me. there was something about today and bilingual little children. a total of seven kids who spoke two or more languages rode it today. some german kids and some spanish/french/english speakers. that was wierd/cool. i wish i had been brought up in that sort of environment. oh well. ranting's over. next up is my new music: thrasher. unlikely for me to listen to thrasher? yes. but sometimes it's fun. and right now is one of those times. for the past week or so, i've been listening to some odd indy thrasher/metal bands. it's boring, but interesting. the screaming is all the same, and most of the songs lack a catchiness. but some do. and those songs that do truly rock. and i think i'm done for now. | | |
